Anotace
Michał Walczak: The plot of „The Sand-pit“ is set on a sand-pit. A boy pretends to be Batman, a girl brings a dolly. Many dramas strive to speak about the simplest human issues in a strange, artificial, unduly serious form. I have tried to remove this mask of pathos. There are many situations, seemingly very adult, which turn out to be rather infantile. I have realised that if I transfer a story of a woman and a man onto a sand-pit, it will allow me to say more and more sincerely. There is no need to feign some complex theme – it is about an unfulfilled love. About two people meeting, who understand one another but at the same time they are not fully ably to comprehend each other.

A song by Chris Isaac Wicked Game is used in the production.
